This is my attempt to open a window onto the world in which I live for people who may not know South Africa or who are curious about what it is like to live there. Because I am not a very disciplined person, I expect posts will not be regular; for the same reason I will probably write about anything which seems significant to me; so the theme of this blog will be interpreted in a very loose way.
